About Laurel Hicks
My name is Laurel Hicks and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who attained my degrees from the Indiana University School of Social Work. I have over 16 years of clinical experience including treatment with military soldiers and their families, war veterans, survivors of abuse, ex-convicts, adults of all ages, children and adolescents. I have provided clinical services in community mental health, home-based services, military behavioral health clinics, emergency room, inpatient psychiatric hospital, and private practice. I have experience participating on several mental health treatment teams. I am also a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor in Indiana and have experience working in outpatient as well as inpatient treatment settings.
I strive to provide exceptional services to my clients through utilizing a holistic approach of understanding an individual's needs. The services that are provided are tailored to the needs of each client with the goal of using the most comfortable approach possible.
